Job summary

Ares Enterprise in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior SailPoint SME to lead the design, development, and optimization of the USAidgov SailPoint IdentityIQ environment. You will guide junior SMEs, oversee workflows, and coordinate with DevOps to ensure secure identity governance across government apps.

The role requires experience with SailPoint/Okta integrations, REST APIs, and cloud-based identity automation. Strong security posture and FedRAMP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed under Education.
• SailPoint IdentityIQ certification or equivalent.
• Experience with DOJ/EOUSA or Federal Gov environments.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with Okta.
• Experience with Okta Identity Engine and Gov environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, CSV integrations.
• Experience with AWS Lambda for identity automation.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell).
• Experience with GitLab or CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for SailPoint IIQ design, development, and maintenance.
• Architect end-to-end SailPoint solutions for security, efficiency, and scalability.
• Lead code reviews, workflow design, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor Junior SailPoint SMEs supporting DevOps teams.
• Oversee daily SailPoint processes, connectors, and data reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain integrations with Okta, MasterAPI, and data ingestion.
• Support automated provisioning/deprovisioning across applications.
• Lead testing - UAT, smoke, regression - and ensure government approvals.
