Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking a senior safety leader to administer and enforce its safety program across large-scale civil infrastructure projects. You will lead accident prevention efforts, conduct site assessments, and develop safety initiatives that align with federal, state, and client requirements.

The role requires 6 years of safety leadership and 3 years in heavy civil infrastructure, with CHST/ASP/CSP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 years of safety leadership experience.
• 3 years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administers and enforces LaneA safety program to prevent accidents.
• Conducts work area assessments and jobsite audits for hazard recognition.
• Develops safety initiatives aligned with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentors and evaluates safety staff.
• Develops and delivers safety training programs.
• Leads safety orientations and toolbox talks for crews and subcontractors.
• Participates in regulatory inspections and investigations for compliance.
• Supports incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Administers and enforces LaneA's safety program, leading accident prevention efforts to achieve company and project safety goals.
• Conducts work area assessments and jobsite audits, focusing on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors, and corrective actions.
• Develops, organizes, and implements safety initiatives and programs that align with LaneA's standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments.
• Develops and delivers training programs.
• Leads safety orientations, toolbox talks, and project-specific meetings to ensure effective communication across crews and subcontractors.
• Participates in regulatory inspections and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and client requirements.
• Supports incident investigations and corrective action tracking to prevent recurrence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
