Job summary

Snohomish County PUD #1 is seeking a Safety Specialist III to support the Accident Prevention Program under the Safety Manager. You will contribute to training, inspections, and program development while promoting a strong safety culture across the district.

Applicants should have a safety-related background, with appropriate education or equivalent experience. The role may involve coordinating with regulatory agencies and leading safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and four years safety training/inspection/program development experience.
• Alternative: four years in customer service/project management/contract administration plus four years in safety role.
• Eight years as Journeyman Lineman or Substation Worker with four years in safety-related function.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of the Accident Prevention Program.
• Deliver trainings, perform inspections, and support safety program development.
• Collaborate with employees and managers to promote a strong safety culture; lead projects as needed.
