What You Will Do:
Korry Electronics is looking for a Senior-level Safety & Reliability Engineertoplay a key role indevelopment, certification, andsupport of ouradvanced civil and military avionicssystems and subsystems.
As a Safety & Reliability Engineer, youwill be responsible forsafety processes,methodologies andbest practices,assessing and defining productarchitecture,examining failure modes andprobabilities to ensureour products meet their requirements.You'llwork within a fast-paced, creative engineering environment, acting as an individual contributor within a multi-disciplined team to ensure our products are safe, robust, and reliable. Primary Responsibilities:
- Safety and Reliability Analysis:Develop and analyze critical reports, including Reliability Analyses, Fault Trees, Common Cause Analyses, and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with design, components, and quality engineering teams toidentifyrequirements, pinpoint non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
- Design & Compliance:Manageaircraftsafety requirements throughout the product lifecycle using both top-down and bottom-up methodologies. Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance.
- Risk Assessment:Facilitaterisk assessments, including safety and cybersecurity, for new products and problem reports, and generate comprehensive reports.
- Technical Expertise:Utilizeyourexpertisein industry standards (e.g.,MIL-STD-882, DO-178, DO-254) and reliability testing methods (HALT, HASS, ESS) to guide development.
- Continuous Improvement:Support Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS) and contribute to field reliability tracking efforts.
- Customer Communication:Maintainstrong communicationwith customer counterparts and program managers throughout the development process.
- Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.
PreferredEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,Systems Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or a related Aerospace Engineering discipline.
PreferredExperience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Safety & Reliability Engineering.
- Experience with Safety & Reliabilitysoftware such as PTC Windchill/Windchill Risk & Reliability.
- Familiarity with derating and maintenance/packaging design analysis.
- Skills:
- Expertisein aerospace equipment certification processes.
- Proficiencywith fault tree analysis tools (e.g., CAFTA Fault Tree orRelexFault Tree).
- Working knowledgeof communication protocols.
- Working knowledge ofelectrical and mechanical models.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards: MIL-HDBK-217,MIL-HDBK-472, DO-160.
- Experience with STPA or CAST.
- Experience with Systems Engineering and requirements capture software (e.g., DOORs)
- Experience with software-based systems and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, ADO, or other program management tools is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge ofcyber security protocols like DO-326is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
- Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.

Salary Range:
The typical hiring range for this role is:
- Level III: $108,000-$162,000
- Level IV: $124,000–$186,000
