Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in safety/occupational health management.
• In-depth knowledge of safety laws and regulations for various environments.
• Experience with life safety, fire safety, and hazardous materials.
• Ability to plan, analyze and develop safety programs for NSWG-1.
• Strong communication and data presentation to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Officer in planning and administering the SOH program.
• Inform Safety Officer of appropriate safety measures to achieve critical mission goals.
• Maintain SOH library and conduct inspections of command programs and workspaces.
• Recommend measures to control or mitigate unsafe conditions.
• Conduct safety analyses for hazardous operations and report results.
• Prepare quarterly/annual mishap reports and trends analyses.
• Assist in annual assessments and inspections requiring fall protection and training.
