Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Safety and Occupational Health Project Manager to support the Naval Special Warfare Group 1 Safety Program. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and monitoring SOH standards across commands, ensuring mission readiness while minimizing risk to personnel and assets.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in safety programs, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to deliver data-driven reports to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing safety and occupational health programs in private/public/military sectors.
• Knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and techniques for office, industrial, and explosive environments.
• Experience with construction safety standards and hazard control in facilities projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with senior leadership.
• Independent worker able to operate with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Officer in planning, managing, and administering the SOH program.
• Recommend measures to mitigate unsafe conditions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Produce mishap trend analyses and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Develop multi-year and annual safety reports with graphs and charts.
• Conduct fall protection assessments and training across NSWG-1 operations.
