Job summary

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Construction Safety Manager to oversee all safety activities for large-scale MTA projects, including the Broadway Junction Station Complex in East New York, Brooklyn.

The role involves managing safety for employees, subcontractors, and the public, enforcing safety programs, and coordinating third-party reviews and OSHA activities to ensure compliance and safe execution on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety management experience.
• Head of safety on at least one transit/rail or design-build project.
• Certifications in safety are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety activities for large-scale MTA projects.
• Enforce corporate and project safety programs and standards.
• Identify exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Report safety performance and future plans for the project.
• Coordinate with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects.
• Develop project-specific safe work plans and coordinate third-party reviews (OSHA).
