Job summary

The Safety Manager at Freyssinet Inc. will support safe operations across heavy civil infrastructure projects, overseeing field safety, OSHA compliance, and delivery of training.

This role requires collaboration with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field teams to elevate safety performance and foster a proactive culture on site. The position emphasizes regular jobsite visits, safety reporting, incident support, and hands-on training in fall protection and other OSHA topics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction safety experience
• High school diploma required
• OSHA 30/500/510 certifications required
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Strong communication and report-writing skills

Responsibilities

• Jobsite Safety Oversight: Conduct regular field visits to assess safety compliance, identify hazards, and verify adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Reporting: Prepare detailed safety reports, documentation, and corrective action plans. Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
• Safety Training: Deliver safety training classes, including Fall Protection, Confined Space, and other OSHA‑related topics.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Incident Support: Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and development of corrective actions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with field leadership to implement safety initiatives, reinforce expectations, and support continuous improvement.
• Program Support: Review and update safety policies and procedures. Assist with implementing site‑specific safety plans and risk mitigation strategies.
