Fiber Network Services Inc. seeks an experienced Companywide Safety Manager to build, monitor, and enforce safety programs for fiber optic and utility projects across multiple states.

The role covers field operations, including aerial and underground installations, with a strict zero-harm culture and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety management, deep OSHA/MUTCD/DOT knowledge, and holds OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification plus trainer/competent

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in construction safety management, with telecom/ fiber utility experience.
• Advanced proficiency in OSHA 1926, MUTCD, 811 locate laws, and DOT compliance.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction cert and trainer/competent person in Excavation/Trenching and Confined Spaces; First Aid/CPR.
• Preferred CSP/ASP/CHMM designations.
• Ability to traverse rough terrain and travel regionally up to 50–75%.

Responsabilités

• Field inspections and compliance audits of underground and aerial crews.
• Trenching and excavation oversight per OSHA 1926 Subpart P.
• Aerial safety management for bucket trucks and fall protection.
• Traffic control oversight per MUTCD standards.
• Incident investigation and OSHA/ worker's comp reporting.
• Regulatory liaison with OSHA, DOT, and municipal project managers.
• Training and certifications delivery for field personnel.
