Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in safety supervision and management.
• 30-hour OSHA General Industry safety class, Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or 5+ years of construction industry safety experience.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ASP or CSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist project and construction management on safety plans.
• Ensure project safety plans align with company policy and regulations.
• Identify and eliminate hazards and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors and conduct safety inspections.
