Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Safety Program Leader to develop and drive comprehensive safety initiatives across construction and electrical projects.

You will lead training, site inspections, incident investigations, and compliance efforts while fostering a culture of safety with field teams and management. Ideal candidates bring OSHA/industry certifications and a proven track record in safety leadership within electrical contracting, aiming to mitigate risk and protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Progressive safety leadership experience in construction or electrical contracting.
• Experience developing training programs, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and manage risk.
• CSP or CIH certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve safety programs and policies.
• Lead safety training focused on electrical safety and hazard recognition.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and document findings.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety audits, reporting, and compliance management.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and drills.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and partner with leadership.
