Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a Safety Program Leader to design, implement, and continuously improve safety programs across projects in the Western US. You will lead training, audits, incident investigations, and emergency planning while partnering with field teams and management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in OH&S and progressive safety leadership experience in construction or electrical contracting, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and workforce safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Progressive safety leadership experience in construction/electrical settings.
• Experience managing safety programs, training, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve comprehensive safety programs and policies.
• Lead safety training focused on electrical safety and hazard recognition.
• Perform regular jobsite inspections and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits and report key risks to leadership.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills.
