Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a Safety Manager to lead comprehensive safety programs, training, and compliance across projects in the Western US. You will drive safety innovation, coordinate field and office safety efforts, and enhance regulatory adherence.

You'll develop and update safety policies, conduct incident investigations, and manage emergency preparedness while fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive safety leadership experience in construction/electrical contracting preferred.
• Experience managing safety programs, training, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and preventive action.
• Coordinate safety audits, reporting, and compliance management.
• Develop emergency preparedness and response plans.
