M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety & Health Coordinator responsible for administering a comprehensive safety management system for electrical industrial construction and maintenance.

This role collaborates with managers, project teams, and craft personnel to promote safe work practices and enforce safety standards. The position requires expertise in OSHA regulations, coordination with union personnel, and the ability to drive safety initiatives across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 29 CFR OSHA 1926 Construction Industry Regulations.
• Experience collaborating with IBEW union craft personnel.
• Ability to engage with all management levels to build partnerships.
• Experience developing and delivering safety & health policies and programs.

Responsabilités

• Identify health & safety policy needs by analyzing results, requirements, and risks.
• Develop and oversee delivery of safety policies.
• Coordinate disaster/storm response activities.
• Integrate safety into project plans and set safety goals.
• Lead on-site safety meetings and safety training initiatives.
• Support incident investigations and provide audits and technical safety support.
• Maintain records and reporting; monitor safety metrics.
• Foster proactive safety culture and supervise coaching for teams.
