Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety & Health Coordinator to administer a comprehensive safety program for electrical industrial construction and maintenance.

You will collaborate with the Safety Manager, project teams, and craft personnel to promote safe work practices and compliant conditions. The role requires at least 10 years of construction safety experience, a bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in safety-related field.
• 10+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience working with IBEW union craft personnel.

Responsibilities

• Identify health and safety policy needs by analyzing organizational results, job requirements, operational problems, compliance requirements, forecasts and business needs.
• Develops and oversees the delivery of health & safety policies.
• Coordinate on-site safety meetings and conduct safety training.
• Promote proactive safety activities and lead incident investigations.
• Provide safety oversight and coaching to supervisors and employees.
