Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a skilled Safety & Health Field Coordinator to manage a comprehensive safety program for electrical industrial construction and maintenance.

You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents and craft personnel to promote safe work practices. Requirements include 5–10 years of construction safety, a Bachelor’s in OSH or related field and a CUSP certificate. Significant travel is required, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and coaching across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OSH or related field preferred.
• Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) required.
• 5–10 years in construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site safety meetings and training.
• Assist with orientation for new hires.
• Conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
• Document recordkeeping and reporting.
• Promote proactive safety behaviors and corrective actions.
• Integrate safety into project plans and goals.
• Coach supervisors and craft personnel on safety.
• Monitor compliance and safety metrics.
• Drive continuous safety improvements.
