Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering or related field.
• 7+ years occupational safety in semiconductor/high-tech industries preferred.
• Experience in construction safety design and management for high-tech plants preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local, national, and international safety regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members and management.
• Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve Micron's safety programs and operating procedures to ensure worker safety and compliance with laws.
• Lead construction and tool installation projects to meet EHS requirements.
• Implement ISO 45001 and TOSHMS management systems.
• Review and approve designs for safety compliance and safety-by-design methods.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation actions.
• Evaluate operations for regulatory compliance and industry standards; perform safety audits and inspections.
• Provide training to foster a culture of safety and inclusion.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
