Job summary

Roblox is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join the Safety Data Infrastructure team in San Mateo, CA. You will own end-to-end delivery for high-throughput safety features, collaborating with multiple partner teams to define scalable architectures and drive cross-functional initiatives that improve platform safety and user experience.

You will work primarily with Rust, Go, C++, and Python, contributing to AI-driven safety tools and data pipelines, while mentoring peers and leading key

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing high-throughput microservices with a focus on safety and security.
• Backend experience with non-relational datastores and large-scale systems.
• BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or related technical field.
• Curious to learn new technologies and grow skills.
• AI-native mindset and interest in integrating AI capabilities into core UX and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle for full-stack features within Safety Data Infra, from specification to rollout and iteration.
• Collaborate with Content Safety, Safety Experience, Accounts, ML Foundations, and database platform teams.
• Define architectural direction for scaling Safety Data Infra.
