Job summary

Intuitive Safety Solutions (ISS) seeks an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support a multi-phase hyperscale data center construction project near Manchester, Ohio. This senior role delivers dedicated onsite health and safety monitoring throughout construction and independently evaluates contractor compliance with the project’s safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have five+ years of construction safety experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced technical degree in Health and Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience in health and safety programs.
• Five years of health and safety management experience in industrial, civil, technology-related, or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and experience monitoring high-risk activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite health and safety monitoring across active construction areas.
• Evaluate contractor compliance with project safety requirements and the Construction Safety Management Plan.
• Conduct routine site inspections, field safety observations, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Document inspections, incidents, and corrective actions in Procore.
• Escalate significant safety concerns to project leadership in a timely manner.
• Build relationships with project owners, managers, contractors, and field personnel.
