Job summary

Estron Chemical, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s safety programs, ensuring OSHA, EPA compliance and a strong safety culture.

This role supervises compliance programs, trains employees, handles incident reporting and leads safety personnel across operations. Based in a primarily manufacturing environment, the position requires office presence with occasional after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in chemical manufacturing or similar.
• Expertise in OSHA regulations and compliance reporting.
• Proven leadership supervising safety programs and teams.
• Familiarity with hazardous waste management and EPA programs.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Experience administering and tracking training through LMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and related regulatory requirements.
• Lead plant-wide safety initiatives and update safety plans.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and PPE programs.
• Develop and track safety training programs (LMS-based).
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits and support continuous improvement.
