Job summary

PECO is seeking a Health and Safety leader who serves as the primary resource for technical expertise and management of local safety issues 24/7/365. You will maintain safety programs, support incident analysis, and provide guidance to Operations regions to ensure regulatory compliance and culture change.

The role requires a BS/BA in safety or related field with 4–7 years’ utility EH&S experience. Strong communication, data analysis, and collaborative leadership are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Minimum: B.S./B.A. in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related technical field, and 4-7 years' experience in utility operations or EH&S.
• Attention to detail, sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated and able to trigger action and achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, consultation, and technical support to EED Operation regions/divisions.
• Manage the local resolution process of safety and health issues via analysis, benchmarking, risk management and regulatory interface.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to leadership in safety culture change (Director thru represented employees).
• Maintain injury record keeping and manages overall accident reporting process with confidentiality.
• Interpret, advise and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations; interface with regulators and customers.
