Job summary

Hadron Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Safety Analysis Engineer to lead deterministic safety analyses for a micro modular reactor. The role spans plant modeling with RELAP5/RELAP5-3D, transient/accident analyses, and boundary-condition integration with multi-disciplinary teams.

The candidate will author FSAR content, support NRC pre-licensing activities, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with PRA and licensing teams in a fast-paced clean-energy environment.

Qualifications

• PhD/masters preferred; bachelors acceptable with extensive nuclear safety analysis experience.
• Minimum 8 years (Senior) / 12+ years (Principal) of nuclear safety analysis & thermal-hydraulics.
• Proficient with RELAP5/RELAP5-3D; familiarity with TRACE, RETRAN, MELCOR, MAAP, SCDAP or GOTHIC is a plus.
• Strong ability to author FSAR sections and support NRC licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of deterministic safety analyses for the Hadron MMR project.
• Define design basis events and licensing basis events; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Author FSAR content, technical specifications bases, and supporting topical reports.
