Job summary

Itlearn360 seeks an experienced Agile Scrum Master to drive SAFe practices for multiple IT teams in Sacramento, CA. The contractor will support up to three agile teams, lead all scrum ceremonies, and participate in program increment planning to ensure delivery aligns with policy and change management standards.

Qualifications

• Scrum Master Certification mandatory with SAFe experience.
• Minimum 10 years in IT with at least 3 years in SAFe as Scrum Master.
• Experience identifying impediments and driving resolution.
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
• Experience coordinating backlog, roadmaps, and productivity reporting in Agile tools.
• Coordinate test cases with development of user stories and tasks.
• Promote Agile principles across the organization.
• Shield team from distractions to maintain progress.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management and refinement.
• Track team progress, metrics, and stakeholder communication.
• Support continuous improvement and coaching of teams.
• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters/Agile coaches to grow organizational maturity.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scrum Master services to support SMUD’s customer technology initiatives.
• Apply SAFe principles to organize work and deliver technology.
• Support up to three agile teams and lead all team ceremonies.
• Participate in quarterly program increment planning and ensure high-quality delivery.
