Job summary

Capital i is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead Agile teams on VA IT development and sustainment projects. The role focuses on guiding scrum teams, ensuring adherence to SAFe/LeSS processes, and delivering high-quality software through effective risk management and metrics.

The candidate will liaise with clients, manage resources, and coordinate with Release Managers to support VIP builds and program increments in alignment with VA VIP workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, systems, business or related field; 13 years total possible substitution.
• 10 years of experience supporting software development programs.
• 5 years of experience leading a program using either LeSS or SAFe (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management guidance to scrum teams.
• Manage resources and projects per the project plan.
• Lead PI Planning per SAFe and VA VIP processes.
• Provide metrics and burn-down charts for progress.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; provide weekly updates.
• Maintain requirements backlog and support releases.
