Job summary

LanzaJet, a Sustainable Aviation Fuels technology provider, seeks a Senior Plant Process Engineer in Soperton, GA. You will develop, optimize, and maintain SAF production processes to ensure safe, efficient operations and minimal environmental impact.

Lead process improvements, adopt innovative technologies, analyze data, and manage plant expansion projects. Requires 5–10+ years in chemical/process engineering (renewable energy/PSM), strong project leadership, and proficiency with process

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
5–10+ years of process engineering experience, preferably in renewable energy or PSM-regulated industries.
Experience in sustainable aviation fuel production is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of chemical processing and renewable energy technologies.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency with process simulation and engineering software / DCS.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of SAF production processes.
Implement technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage projects for plant expansions, process upgrades, and new technology integrations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align deliverables with goals.
Ensure processes meet safety and environmental regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
