Job summary

SMX is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Analytics Cloud Architect to design, architect, build, and implement robust budget planning and reporting solutions for federal government clients. The role extends to custom widgets, JavaScript development, and integrations with SAP and non‑SAP sources, remotely supporting a Washington, DC customer and requiring a federal clearance.

You will lead SAC planning implementations, define data integrations, and set development standards while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years designing and building Budgeting, Planning & Reporting solutions, including 4+ years of hands-on SAC Planning development.
• Technical lead or architect on at least two full-lifecycle SAC Planning implementations.
• Expert-level skills in SAC data modeling, data actions, stories, and analytical applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into solution architecture and technical design documents.
• Architect, build, test, and deploy SAC planning solutions including data models, actions, stories, and analytics.
• Design and develop SAC custom widgets and advanced JavaScript extensions.
• Define data integrations between SAC and SAP/non-SAP sources.
• Establish development standards and code review practices across environments.
• Serve as technical lead for customer demos and proofs of concept.
• Partner with UX/UI designers and other SAC developers on feasibility.
