F5 is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager in San Jose, CA (Hybrid) to own drafting, redlining, and negotiating complex commercial transactions, with a focus on SaaS and cloud software agreements. You will partner with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Product, InfoSec, and Legal leadership to drive efficient deal execution.

The role emphasizes scalable contracting operations, CLM tooling, and AI-powered workflows to improve velocity and risk management in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in contract management or commercial transactions within a fast-paced tech company.
• Hands-on drafting, redlining, and negotiating high-value commercial agreements end-to-end.
• Enterprise SaaS knowledge, SLAs, data security schedules, privacy principles (GDPR/CCPA).
• Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized and collaborative.
• Bachelor’s degree or CPCM/ CCCM or paralegal certification.

Responsibilities

• Draft, redline, and negotiate MSAs, cloud service agreements, SOWs, DPAs, NDAs, and more.
• Lead deal negotiations using approved playbooks and escalation frameworks.
• Review customer/vendor papers, propose pragmatic compromises, and negotiate positions.
• Escalate risks to legal counsel and work with attorneys on complex issues.
• Develop and maintain contract playbooks, templates, and SOPs.
• Oversee CLM system, data accuracy, and contract metrics.
• Train business teams on contracting processes and governance.
