Job summary

Tech-Marine Business Inc is seeking a Senior Science & Technology (S&T) Analyst to support Surface Navy modernization and technology transition initiatives for NAVSEA.

The role provides analytical, strategic, and programmatic support to senior government leadership responsible for identifying, prioritizing, evaluating, and transitioning emerging technologies that improve fleet readiness, maintenance, modernization, and warfighting capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technology Management, or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience supporting Navy, Department of Defense, or maritime technology programs.
• Experience working with Navy acquisition, research and development, science and technology, engineering, maintenance, or modernization organizations.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating emerging technologies and supporting technology transition activities.
• Experience developing executive briefings, strategic plans, and technical analyses for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support senior government leaders in the development and execution of Surface Navy science and technology strategies, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Research, analyze, and assess emerging technologies with applicability to naval modernization, sustainment, maintenance, and readiness initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across NAVSEA, OPNAV, ONR, DARPA, Department of Defense organizations, and industry partners to identify capability gaps and technology opportunities.
• Assist in developing technology insertion strategies and transition plans that align with Navy and Office of the Secretary of Defense priorities.
