Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior S/4 Transition Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture for an ECC to S/4HANA transformation in the Aerospace & Defense sector. You will align reporting, integration, and analytics across systems and shape canonical data models while establishing trusted sources of truth for KPI reporting during the transition.

You will partner with technology and analytics stakeholders to enable reliable decision-making and observability in a complex transformation

Qualifications

• 10 years in relevant data/architecture roles, or 7+ with advanced degree.
• Deep SAP ECC and S/4HANA data modeling expertise.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Snowflake, and BusinessObjects Data Services.
• Proven bridge-architecture design for multi-system reporting during transformations.
• Strong grounding in data warehousing and integration techniques.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior S/4 Transition Data Architect to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead enterprise data architecture for a major ERP transformation, with a focus on aligning reporting, integration, and analytics across multiple systems. The position will shape canonical and system-specific data models, define trusted sources of truth, and help ensure consistent KPI reporting during the transition. You will partner closely with stakeholders across technology and analytics functions to enable reliable decision-making and observability in a complex transformation environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually

• Own the enterprise data architecture for the ECC to S/4HANA transition

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with 10 years in relevant roles, or an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience
• Deep expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models, including CDS views and embedded analytics
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Snowflake, and BusinessObjects Data Services for data modeling and reporting
• Proven track record in designing bridge architectures for multi-system reporting during transformations
• Strong grounding in data modeling, warehousing, and integration techniques
