Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking an experienced epidemiology/data science professional to support a wide range of Real World Evidence activities. The role involves data preparation, analytic strategy guidance, and collaboration with epidemiologists and stakeholders to deliver timely insights.

Responsibilities include building analytical databases, applying advanced statistics, and communicating results to internal teams and external clients. A Master’s or PhD and strong SQL/SAS or R skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience conducting RWE analytics for pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required; deep experience with RWE data sources such as Optum, Truveta, UK Biobank.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Real World data and advise on analytic strategies for epidemiology projects.
• Conduct statistical analyses and generate data-driven insights.
• Create and maintain analytical databases from data extracts for research studies.
• Produce tables/figures for study reports and client discussions.
• Present results internally and to clients; support report preparation.
