Central Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA seeks two Registered Veterinary Technicians to support dental and surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, recovery, and dental radiography.

Role-specific levels: RVT Level 2 and Level 3 with expectations for advanced anesthesia, dentistry, and team mentoring. On-site schedule features 4x10 shifts; California RVT license and 2–5+ years of RVT experience required.

Formación

• Active California RVT license in good standing required.
• At least 2 years of RVT experience for Level 2.
• At least 5 years of RVT experience for Level 3.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, dentistry, radiography, and patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia for procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs.
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and treatments.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for dental and surgical procedures.
• Recognize patient changes and troubleshoot anesthesia and recovery concerns.
• Assist with imaging, lab tests, and hospitalized patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Instinct EMR.
• Provide client education and train Veterinary Assistants and RVTs.
