Job summary

Central Veterinary Hospital in California is seeking two Registered Veterinary Technicians to support dental and surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, recovery, and dental radiography.

Roles offer 4x10 schedules with competitive pay at RVT Level 2 and Level 3, plus a $4000 signing bonus to start. California RVT license in good standing and 2+ years’ RVT experience are required, with 5+ years preferred for Level 3.

Qualifications

• Active California RVT license in good standing is required.
• Minimum 2 years of RVT experience; 5+ years preferred for Level 3.
• Proficiency with anesthesia, dentistry, radiography, and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia for dental and surgical procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and take full-mouth radiographs.
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures; maintain sterile technique.
• Document medical records accurately in Instinct EMR.
• Provide client education and mentor junior staff.
