Cottage Pet Hospital in Anaheim, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team in a strong clinical role emphasizing anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and team development.

We offer a competitive hourly wage with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The RVT will provide high-quality patient care, support day-to-day medical and surgical operations, and mentor other veterinary staff in a collaborative AmeriVet network.

Formación

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Strong experience with anesthesia monitoring.
• Experience performing dental extractions.
• Strong surgical experience and perioperative care.
• Ability to teach and mentor veterinary team members.
• Experience managing surgical and back-of-house inventory.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories.
• Assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining surgical flow.
• Provide anesthesia monitoring and perioperative care.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood.
• Run and interpret routine in-house bloodwork.
• Perform dental procedures including extractions.
• Take diagnostic radiographs and ensure proper positioning.
• Educate clients on care and follow-up.
• Assist with surgery scheduling and inventory management.
• Support training and mentorship of team members.
