Job summary

Legion Intelligence is hiring a Senior RUST Developer to build and maintain the core AI platform infrastructure. You will write robust Rust code, design scalable backends, and collaborate with ML engineers to enable enterprise AI workflows.

Remote USA role with a government-contract backdrop, requiring US citizenship or greencard. You will work across teams to implement foundational components, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in production environments.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Greencard required due to government contract.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years of software/platform engineering experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience building platform infrastructure and backend systems across products.
• Experience in Rust with high-performance systems.
• Expertise in database architecture, distributed databases, storage, indexing, data modeling.
• Experience designing systems for AI/ML workloads.
• Familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn and adapt.
• Strong collaboration, psychological safety, and inclusion in technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop foundational components and frameworks for our Agentic AI platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create platform solutions for developers.

• Work with ML engineers to build infrastructure supporting ML workflows.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for platform reliability.
