Job summary

Greenbone AG is seeking an experienced Rust Engineer to develop and enhance OPENVAS, our open-source vulnerability scanning framework. You will work on high-performance backend services and contribute to the architecture of scanning modules.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional software engineering experience in backend, systems, or infrastructure development.
• Proven ability to design technical solutions and solve large-scale backend challenges.
• Strong communication skills and interest in interpreter/compiler programming.

• Develop and enhance OPENVAS, focusing on scalable vulnerability detection.
• Design and implement high-performance backend services primarily in Rust.
