Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer for high-frequency trading infrastructure with a focus on low-latency systems and AWS/Linux expertise. You will own core trading stack components and collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers across a fully remote global team.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
• Experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quant Trading) with execution, market data, and risk.
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise for latency-sensitive workloads, shell scripting, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for strategy development and automation.
• Deep familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket), exchange connectivity, and market data feeds.
• Solid grasp of low-latency networking: TCP/UDP, latency path analysis, kernel bypass techniques (DPDK).
• Familiarity with agentic engineering tools and AI-first workflows, harnessing automation.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions, articulate trade-offs clearly, and guide implementation across complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise low-latency trading systems.
• Own trading stack components end-to-end—from architecture to production operation.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain trading infrastructure with focus on performance, stability, observability, and operability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Embrace agentic engineering: leverage AI-assisted workflows and automation.
• Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing for critical trading components.
