Machinifyinc is looking for a skilled Staff/Senior Software Engineer with deep Rust experience to join our engineering team. In this position, you will leverage your programming expertise to design and build scalable, reliable web applications that impact millions of lives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience, expertise across the stack including Rust, Java, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and the ability to ensure high code quality. The role includes deep collaboration and offers a pay range of $210,000–260,000 along with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend programming, additional full-stack experience highly desired.
• Experience as a Rust developer.
• Experience with multiple languages across all layers of the stack.
• Experience in improving complex code.
• Experience ensuring code quality through effective testing.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Rust Coach/Multiplier, mentoring and elevating the team's Rust maturity.
• Contribute to the development of complex in-browser applications.
• Balance feature development with technical debt cleanup.
• Architect and implement applications applying ML techniques to large data volumes.
• Design interworking systems for reliable application performance.
