You will act as the technical anchor, guiding architecture, quality, and delivery across backend and frontend workstreams. You will provide hands-on engineering leadership, oversee multiple parallel tracks, and mentor engineers to grow technical and architectural capabilities while ensuring alignment with business

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or serving as a Tech Lead/Staff-level engineer.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, databases, APIs, testing, and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development team across multiple parallel workstreams, ensuring quality and delivery velocity.
• Define and evolve the technical architecture across Ruby on Rails services and full-stack applications.
• Make pragmatic technology decisions balancing long-term scalability and near-term delivery.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, coding conventions, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback via reviews, and foster knowledge sharing.
