Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join an AGILE team supporting government customers. You will develop web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and AWS, collaborating with analysts, UI/UX staff, testers, and customers to define requirements and implement business logic.

The role requires 10+ years of web development, TS/SCI with Poly and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant web development experience.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Acquire CompTIA Security+ within first 6 months.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in CS/IS or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple priority tasks.
• Self-motivated task identification.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop and/or modify software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
• Collaborate with analysts, UI/UX developers and SMEs to understand requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for software development and enhancements and analyze impact.
• Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
• Present ideas for system improvements.
• Produce detailed specifications, write code, and conduct unit testing.
• Write interfaces and conversion routines leveraging web APIs.
• Support formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
• Provide input into training manuals for users.
• Maintain knowledge of feature and technical changes.
