Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join an AGILE team supporting a government customer. The role involves HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, C#.NET, SQL, Ruby on Rails, and AWS to build business applications and provide production support.

The candidate will work with analysts, UI/UX, testers, and customers to gather requirements, implement logic, and refine applications while maintaining production stability and performing troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of web development experience.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS or IS.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop and modify software systems (custom, COTS, GOTS).
• Collaborate with analysts, UI/UX developers, and SMEs to understand requirements.
• Develop cost estimates and conduct impact analysis for changes.
• Adhere to change control standards and document specifications.
• Produce code, unit test, and write interfaces leveraging web APIs.
• Support testing in controlled environments before production deployment.
• Assist in creating training materials for users.
• Keep up-to-date with feature and tech changes in the app.
