Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Provo, Utah seeks an RTS Inspector II to take full ownership of aircraft work orders, from pre-planning to delivery, ensuring airworthiness and conformity with RII standards. The role includes FAA logbook research, regulatory interpretation, and mentoring teammates to raise overall quality.

You will collaborate with project managers and certification coordinators to manage modifications, ensure milestones are met, and support customer communication with precise documentation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Five years general aviation maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of assigned aircraft projects from pre-planning to delivery, ensuring quality and airworthiness.
• Mentors and evaluates inspectors on assigned teams, supporting development and accuracy of regulatory knowledge.
• Completes AD research and reviews FAA logbooks and related documentation for conformity with Duncan Aviation’s repair station certificate.
• Cooperates with Project Manager and Certification Coordinator to ensure modifications align with aircraft configuration and milestones.
• Reviews data milestones (FAA Form 337, ICA, weight and balance, etc.) to verify compliance for each project.
• Assesses compliance requirements for certification activities on large complex projects and related approvals.
• Responds to customer inquiries and shares regulatory knowledge to support the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
