Job summary

Braver IT is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build a programmatic advertising platform where latency directly drives ad-buying decisions. You’ll own high-throughput, low-latency services and contribute across OpenRTB-inspired workflows, DSP/SSP integrations, and real-time bidding pipelines.

You should have deep RTB/AdTech experience, strong backend skills in Node.js/TS, Go, Rust, Java or Python, and a pragmatic approach to performance optimization.

Qualifications

Senior-level backend experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
Strong RTB/AdTech background in programmatic advertising.
Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java or Python and adaptable to new tech.
Excellent problem-solving and performance trade-off judgment.

Responsibilities

Build and improve backend services for real-time ad buying and delivery decisions.
Identify bottlenecks and optimize throughput, latency, and reliability.
Develop bidding flows and ad integrations, processing bid-stream data.
Contribute to technical decisions across performance-critical components.
Apply domain knowledge to engineering challenges in programmatic advertising.
