Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Robotics Mechanical Engineer to own the design, architecture testing, and delivery of next-generation rotary actuator systems for its robotics platforms.

You will lead high-torque density actuators, from concept through scaled deployment, with a focus on precision gear trains, motor integration and lifecycle validation. You will drive architecture breakthroughs, perform FEA, prototype testing and ensure manufacturability and reliability in high-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD/FEA tools and validation.
• Experience mentoring and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of rotary actuator systems.
• Own electromagnetic and mechanical design of actuators and gear boxes.
• Drive technical roadmap and system validation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing and Quality for launches.
