Job summary

PROtect LLC is seeking Level II, SPRAT or IRATA Certified Rope Access RT Technicians in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include performing rope access duties, maintaining logbooks, and conducting NDT testing (gamma, x-ray, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing, and visual inspections).

You will calibrate equipment, identify material defects, document work orders, and support a safety-focused team. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Rope Access duties in compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain climbing logbooks per guidelines.
• Conduct NDT testing using various methods.
• Load, calibrate, or operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects in materials.
• Complete documentation and work orders on time.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure team safety.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and shop.
• Perform duties as assigned.
