Job summary

Acuren in La Porte, TX is seeking Rope Access Level I, II, and III Technicians to join our Houston area team. Local candidates preferred. The role focuses on safe rope access work across industrial sites, delivering quality inspection and mechanical support for refinery projects.

Requirements include IRATA or SPRAT Level I Certification, valid driver’s license, and refinery/mechanical experience. NCCER is a plus; we offer per diem, project-based work, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification required, including proficiency in theory, equipment, rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling.
• Valid drivers' license preferred.
• Required certification levels for specific projects.
• Must have industrial refinery experience.
• Must have mechanical industrial experience.
• NCCER (Trained Individual) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Demonstrate all skills and knowledge required of a Level 1 Rope Access Technician.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.
