Code and Theory is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own the definition and success of Machine rollout implementations for enterprise and internal clients. You will define work, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Forward Deployed Engineering pod to ensure timely, scoped, and measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes translating client goals into actionable plans, maintaining governance, and driving adoption while navigating a startup-within-an-agency environment with evolving processes.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years in a client-facing delivery, implementation, or account ownership role at a SaaS, martech, or software implementations company.
• Experience owning the commercial side of an engagement: budget, burn, scope changes.
• Ability to translate client needs into clear scope for engineers and earn their trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a startup-within-an-agency environment with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the definition and success of the implementation motion across your portfolio, from pre-sales through go-live, adoption, and expansion.
• Define the work: translate client goals into a scoped, sequenced implementation plan against which the engineering pod can execute.
• Manage the financials of the rollout: track budget against burn, flag variance early, and own the commercial health of your accounts.
• Partner with the Forward Deployed Engineering pod, giving them clear scope and priorities and clearing blockers.
• Lead client kickoffs, establish success criteria, governance, and decision rights for agentic AI actions.
