Job summary

CNN is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the Roku team in Bellevue, WA. In this role, you will write client-side code for streaming applications and collaborate with various teams to enhance software features.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software development and be proficient in JavaScript and Python. A passion for developing applications for streaming platforms like Roku is preferred.

Competitive salary range from $105,000 to $195,000 per year, with additional benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing and releasing software products and/or services.
• Proficiency in client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python; experience with BrightScript and SceneGraph is a plus.
• Experience developing for streaming devices like Roku, FireTV, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating using Git for version control.
