Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Boston is seeking a Senior Robotics Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineering Manager for the Orthopaedics team. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA, and leads a multidisciplinary V&V group focused on ensuring robotic systems meet safety, efficacy, and regulatory requirements for clinical use.

The role collaborates with systems, software, hardware, clinical, robotics, manufacturing, and quality teams to verify and validate design outputs against user needs and risk

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in V&V engineering within the medical device industry.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product development lifecycle.
Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion).

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Verification & Validation and Integration Engineers.
Define testable requirements and risk-based verification strategies.
Develop and execute comprehensive V&V master plans for complex medical devices.
Prepare and deliver system-level V&V documentation and reports.
Coordinate external test facilities to ensure regulatory compliance.
