Tennant Company in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Robotics Product Development team. You will own subsystem architectures, guide requirements, and coordinate across Electrical, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to deliver robust electro‑mechanical, electrical, and software‑enabled robotic systems.

You will lead verification, drive architecture tradeoffs, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to design reviews and producing verifiable

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years in systems/electrical/controls-focused roles with hands-on integration.
• Experience owning subsystems or major workstreams and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own subsystem architectures and system features aligned with overall design.
• Lead requirements decomposition, allocation, and verification for assigned systems.
• Define functional requirements and performance targets for electrical/subsystems.
• Create and maintain system documentation including interfaces and verifications.
• Contribute to system-level architecture discussions and tradeoff analyses.
• Utilize Jira/Confluence/Jama/Visure for requirements management and collaboration.
