Job summary

Genesis MedTech seeks a strategic robotics engineering leader to shape and accelerate our minimally invasive robotic platform. The role partners with global teams to drive architecture, controls, system integration, and technology strategy for safe, reliable clinical performance.

The candidate will expand U.S. robotics capabilities, recruit top talent, and build a high-performing organization to support future commercialization in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing robotic, mechatronic, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in developing complex robotic systems or medical devices.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating robotic control systems.
• Experience integrating hardware and software components within complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop the U.S. robotics strategy to accelerate the global platform while ensuring quality.
• Assess existing capabilities and recommend investments for growth and commercialization.
• Build and lead a robotics systems team enforcing requirements for safe, effective designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure system quality across projects.
• Lead algorithm development and optimization for consistent performance across systems and instruments.
• Design metrics and benchmarks for system performance and validation.
• Lead system-level test design and validation throughout development lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis for test failures and debug cross-domain issues.
• Maintain comprehensive test plans and validation reports.
